SiPM: Not only liberals, but also heretics and kaafir harbi! August 10th, 2007

Whoever the idiots are behind SiPM, they certainly have taken the cake with their translation of the apostate Wafa Sultan’s diatribe on Al-Jazeera last year with the mocking title of “Kuliyyah Jumaat: : Perperangan antara tamadun adalah salah Umat Islam?” (”Friday Sermon: War between civilisations are the fault of the Muslim Ummah”, which is purposely done to aggravate the feelings of Muslims, I might add). Perhaps they do not yet understand the implications of their actions in supporting a discredited apostate who was trashed live on television, on the very same Al-Jazeera show (see my post about this months ago) by a Muslim scholar. I doubt that that this is the case, since the people behind this nuisance of a blog are known to be anak haram Islam Liberal heretics, the zindiqs of the worst kind humans have ever seen.

The full transcript of the show can be viewed here. In this particular debate, Wafa Sultan mentions that, and I quote the translation from SiPM:

Kita tidak pernah lihat seorang Yahudipun meletupkan dirinya didepan sebuah restoran Jerman. Kita belom lagi lihat seorang Yahudi yang memusnahkankan gereja. Kita belom lagi lihat orang Yahudi yang memprotes dengan membunuh orang.

(Translation: We have not seen a Jew blowing himself up in front of a German restaurant. We have yet to see a Jew destroying a church. We have yet to see a Jew protest by killing people.)

Obviously Wafa Sultan (and in effect, SiPM bloggers as well, since by reproducing this quote, they agree to this statement by the apostate Wafa Sultan) have not heard of the person Baruch Goldstein. Baruch Goldstein was an American-Israeli physician who perpetrated the 1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in the city of Hebron, killing 29 Arab attendants of the Ibrahimi Mosque (within the Cave of the Patriarchs) and wounding another 150 in a shooting attack.

So what was that again about “yet to see a Jew massacring anyone”?

Kami, Pertubuhan-pertubuhan Pembela Islam (PEMBELA) dan Allied Coordinating Committee for Islamic NGOs (ACCIN), dua gabungan terbesar pertubuhan-pertubuhan Islam di Malaysia yang dianggotai oleh lebih 100 buah pertubuhan, menolak Merdeka Statement in Commemoration of Malaysia?s 50th Anniversary of Independence yang disediakan oleh Centre for Public Policy Studies, Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (ASLI) dan disokong oleh beberapa pertubuhan bukan kerajaan di negara ini, yang turut cenderung untuk merombak terma-terma penting Kontrak Sosial yang telah dipersetujui oleh kaum-kaum di Malaysia. Dokumen ini didakwa bertujuan untuk melaksanakan Agenda Malaysia Baru (A New Malaysian Agenda) dengan mengemukakan lapan strategi teras.

Toothpaste can contain non-halaal ingredients August 7th, 2007

Well Auntie Lilian sure aroused my interest this time around.

I am not sure where this paranoia comes from but if something as harmless as toothpaste needs to be certified, it spells big trouble ahead. I mean, come on, what can we possibly stuff inside the toothpaste? Lard? Alcohol? Is the world that evil to do things like these? Or is the mind playing tricks and one develop fear of everything?

With all due respect, if Auntie had done her research properly, she would have come across this article. All I did was to type “non-halal toothpaste” in the Google search engine. Some toothpaste products contain gelatin, which comes from the pig or unslaughtered animals which is not in accordance to Shari’ah.

More than 50 per cent of the total world’s production of gelatin are used in food manufacturing. The world population of gelatin production in 2002 is estimated at 270,000 metric tonnes. Some of the biggest producers are European countries, the US, South America and also Asian countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and China. From this amount, 41 per cent of the gelatin is sourced from pigskin, 28.5 per cent from bovine hides and 29.5 per cent from bovine bones.

So to claim that something as absurd as “Now they found what? Jesus’s image on a tube? What?” is a bit of an alarmist reaction and unrelated to the subject matter, don’t you think?

Sometimes I wonder why is it so problematic for non-Muslims to accept the rules and regulations of halal foods and halal products such as toothpaste, but they have no questions about Jewish traditions of kosher.

Young boy recites the Qur’an August 5th, 2007

Subhanallah, the boy sure has a beautiful voice that complements this beautiful passage from the Qur’an very well. Witnessing this performance from a boy no older than nine or ten years old certainly gives you something to pause and think about.

After all, not many people, not even those twice his age, could do something similar to this.
