A spiritually-inspiring notice

I came across this poster which was pinned on the notice board of Surau Mustaqimah, Bandar Tun Razak, quite recently. What I was doing there? Well that you will know very soon.
Anyway I managed to snap a photo of it:

Running translation: The birth of a human is greeted with the call of adhaan [referring to the practice of fathers softly whispering the words of the adhaan into the ear of their newborn] and his/her passing [from this world] will be accompanied by the salat [referring to the solaatul janazah (prayer over the dead) by Muslims]. Between the adhaan and the salat, there is a very short length [of time].
Its certainly something to think about. Life is short and certainly one must commit himself/herself to only Allah Almighty in whatever way that is possible. No matter how small, it will certainly have an effect in the long run.
That is what I, will, insha’allah, always strive to do. To commit myself to Islamic activism, confront Islam’s enemies and strengthen the bond with the Muslim ummah.
