HINDRAF: ABIM urges Malaysians to remain calm November 29th, 2007

The Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM) urges Malaysians of all races and religions to remain calm following street protests by a group Indian Malaysians led by Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) on Sunday.

ABIM notes with deep concern that some of the actions and contents of various documents issued by HINDRAF, in substance and wordings constitute extreme, exagerated and sensationalised allegations implicating the Muslim community in one way or another. The use of terms and expressions such as “ethnic cleansing”, “permanent colonization” of Indian Malaysians by ” Islamic extremists” “Malay gangs” and the like is clearly racially and religiously unjustified, seditious and borders on the subversive.

The victory of Eid October 10th, 2007

On the ocassion of the Eid ul-Fitri, symbolically signifying the “victory of the Muslims” over the nafs on this coming Saturday (for Muslims in Malaysia and regions which share this timing) and Friday (for Muslims in Egypt, Kosovo and regions which share this timing), Eid Mubarak to all of you (minus the Islam Liberals).

Some thoughts on the recent Maldivian bombings October 8th, 2007

This is the except of a conversation that I had over MSN with a Muslim brother from Maldives on the recent bombings in Maldives by suspected Al-Qaeda agents. You can see the pictures here. Anyway our conversation was regarding this particular event and the conclusion was unanimous.
